You can add any costs to any purchase orders and Unleashed will spread these costs across the cost of your products. This can be done automatically or you can manually override each one of the costs. For example, freight and customs, handling fees or an invoice from a freight company. In summary, you can add any cost that is not already part of the purchase price of a product. We use the average landed costs methodology only. This methodology is at the heart of Unleashed’s perpetual inventory management system. Obviously you are free to use FIFO/LIFO principles in terms of physical stock movement (but not when costing). Yes, you can use warehouse transfers to transfer stock between multiple locations. You can also do a manual stock adjustment to maintain stock counts if stock is written off. Furthermore, Unleashed’s stock-on-hand (SOH) report allows you to understand how much stock is available for a particular product in all locations. This is perfect for customer enquiries to ensure you don’t miss out on a sale if the stock actually available, yet in a different location. This can currently be managed in Unleashed using a manual approach, by assembling the first level manually, followed by the second level, then the third – all depending on how many product Bill of Material levels you have. In summary, Unleashed is currently best suited for light manufacturing. If a mistake has been made on a sales order, and the transaction has been completed already, a new sales order needs to be created, along with a credit note. This ensures that accounting data is protected from an audit perspective, as well as preserving the integrity of the data that Unleashed sends to any integrated (linked) cloud systems.
